Have you driven a Ford (like this) lately?

1994 Ford Probe GT VIN: 1ZVLT22B2R5183719 condition: excellent cylinders: 6 cylinders drive: fwd fuel: gas odometer: 78000 paint color: white title status: clean transmission: manual type: hatchback Price: $3,650
Here is a low-mileage (~3,000 miles/yr) super clean (space-) Probe GT. I discovered this well-preserved survivor earlier in the year and have corrected a few mechanical items in need of repair. Highlights include servicing the AC (blows super nice and cold), replacing master & slave cylinders (clutch & shifter operate beautifully), and addressing things here and there (the smooth 2.5L V6 engine performs flawlessly). FleetFix performed the majority of the work and I will provide documentation to the new owner.
On the outside, there are surprisingly very few cosmetic imperfections – the notable one being a minor, hard-to-spot ding. The interior is clean and in excellent condition – especially for a vehicle of this vintage.
AC, power windows, power steering, locks, everything works flawlessly. I embarked on a 4,500 mile cross-country road trip in this sweet 25 year old spaceship without a single issue. This Probe is magic out on the open road. Countless smiles and thumbs-up from fellow motorists, and even the occasional cat-call. The Probe has a way of saving the day – one of my favorite experiences was jump-starting a Lamborghini Aventador on the Vegas Strip (there's a video of this somewhere on the internet). I've owned several dozen interesting cars over the years – some with many times the horsepower and hundreds of times this price – and while can't promise you'll have the exact same experiences I've had, I can say with confidence, odds are you'll always have fun behind the wheel of this spaceship. It brings out a sense of motoring joy missing in most modern vehicles.
It's now ready for someone else to enjoy whether it's intergalactic roads trip, planetary cruising, stylish commuting, Radwood appearances, etc.
Another enthusiast described the appeal of the generation 2 Probe well...
“To me, the lines on this car are some of the finest and most graceful lines on any car ever made. Every viewing angle is pleasant, thereby creating a symmetry of beauty that one never tires of viewing.
“And as to the balance of performance, handling and reliability, none of my previous sports cars could match the balance and the sure-footing of Ford’s Series 2 Probe GT. Having previously owned two '67 Jaguar E-types, a '67 Alfa Romeo GTV and a Spyder, and a '74 Lotus Elite – none of them could compare to the refinement of precision and comfort of the Probe GT in all road conditions.”

I am firm on price (well, unless you have an exceptionally good story), not interested in trades, and not in a hurry to sell It's more important for me to find someone who will appreciate and enjoy this wonderful 90s hatchback.
